STEVE DORFF - SONGWRITER / COMPOSER / PRODUCER
Three-time Grammy nominated songwriter and composer, Steve Dorff, is one of the most successful musical talents of the past 25 years.
The acclaimed songwriter has had a multitude of #1’s songs, spanning the course of five decades with 14 Billboard #1’s and an American Music Award win. He has had over 400 songs recorded by some of the greatest artists in music including Barbara Streisand, Ringo Starr, Whitney Houston, Garth Brooks, Dolly Parton, Celine Dion, Kenny Rogers, among many other noteworthy acts.
In 2018, Dorff was inducted into the prestigious Songwriter’s Hall Of Fame and has won over forty BMI awards throughout his career as a songwriter, among countless other accolades. In addition to this, he has scored for television shows, including Growing Pains, Murphy Brown, Major Dad, Murder She Wrote, Reba, and many films, including Every Which Way But Loose. Most recently, he set his sights for Broadway, having scored a forthcoming musical entitled, “Josephine” with the legendary lyricist, John Bettis.
In 2019, Steve made the move to Nashville, Tennessee to give his talents a new life and has since found a home with Demolition Music. The Demolition team is honored to represent such an incredible icon; they are eager to add a bold taste of Nashville to Dorff’s already impressive career.
Recently, Steve co-wrote and produced a duet featuring the legendary Willie Nelson and Barbra Streisand as well as two songs on the Keb Mo album (Rounder/Concord Records) including the debut single “Sunny And Warm”. He also produced the entire John Berry record and landed multiple songs on the project. Steve is currently composing material for two major film projects that will be out later this year.
